How does Carshield Work?
Carshield is not a direct administrator, which means you will not be dealing with them when you have a claim. Depending on who’s policy they sell you, you will call them and explain what is going on with your vehicle and where you are taking it. The mechanic usually sends the diagnose to them via email and wait for the approval to start working on your vehicle. In the meantime, some policies do have rental reimbursement so you are not without a vehicle when your vehicle is being worked on. Once your automobile is done, they get paid and you can pick up your vehicle.
